Tartan Classic (English)

The time has come again: we are proud to announce the second edition of the Tartan Classic! We are traveling to Scotland again, from:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18 TO SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 2025!

It will again be a special Scottish experience, in which this time we will stay a bit more southern and western. First of all, we will travel by ferry to Newcastle; you will meet the other teams during drinks and dinner. This first evening you will also receive an extensive explanation which will enable you to draw up the route for the first and following days.

After arriving in Newcastle, the route will take you to the stage locations of Peebles, Pitlochry and Edinburgh. The (beautiful) hotel locations have been determined and the route is now being worked hard on. The route winds through the typical Scottish and English countryside, past castles and country houses, golf courses and whisky distilleries, and again we have found very nice spots to purely enjoy driving the rally cars. We will do tests and hillclimbs, all entirely in the atmosphere of -classic- driving.

Registration is open to all interested parties, until the maximum number of 65 participants has been reached. We now know that such a group size provides an ideal mix of mutual contact and driving pleasure. And of course it is important that we were able to keep the price of the event the same as the first edition.

The route is plotted by our planners led by Bart den Hartog, and in collaboration with the famous Scottish rally team Graham Watson and John Albiston. The navigation will include some British route construction systems, which are not only fun and challenging, but will also regularly surprise. Paying attention and enjoying yourself is what the Tartan Classic is all about. In order to prepare you to work with these systems, we will organize an instruction day in combination with a practice ride in the pre-2025 year.

Last but not least: any technical problems with the car on the road will be solved as much as possible with the help of the technical ingenuity of BAS Autoservice from Lichtenvoorde… so there is nothing to stop you from signing up, and we look forward to receiving your entry!

Warm regards,
Cees, Peter, Bart and Yolanda
